What we store

Hanzi Grove does not require an account. Your learning progress (which words you explored, recalled and when they are due for review) is saved only in your own browser, using local storage. It is not sent to us and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand how pages are used (for example, which pages are visited and how long). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. Where required by law we ask for your consent first. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising

We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we use a consent message before personalised ads are shown. Audio and fonts

Audio files are served from this site. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
